HR Business Partner - Central Europe

Summary:
-Partner with key leadership teams in Central Europe, to build effective relationships to enable you to proactively identify opportunities to resolve people challenges in Benelux, France, Germany, Switzerland and Scandinavia.
-Execution of the HR strategy in the Central Europe region.
-Manage the HR Team with onsite HR support in Germany, Switzerland and France
-This role will suit someone who has experienced some years of working as an international HR Business Partner and wants to help build further on a senior level in managing others also.
The Role:
-Partner with key leadership teams, to build effective relationships to enable you to proactively identify opportunities to resolve people challenges, leveraging the HR Centres of Expertise where appropriate to deliver innovative solutions.
-Provide ongoing support to the management teams, offering objective and practical support and resolutions on all employee relations matters as necessary.
-Consult with leaders on optimising people practices for their areas, including organisational design, people development, team performance, and talent and succession planning.
-Coach and build the capability of leaders to anticipate and pre-empt people-centric organisational issues.
-Lead disciplinary and/or grievance meetings (letters of invites, meeting minutes, letters of the outcome, etc).
-Manage and coordinate the monthly payroll process
-Rolling out of HR initiatives such as annual pay reviews, engagement surveys, talent management, etc
-Partner with leadership teams for effective engagement survey result action plans.
- Set up Talent and Succession planning across our Executive Team functions.
-Partner closely with our Recruitment BP’s to ensure a seamless and proactive resourcing process for our leaders.
-Collaborate with our other HR Centres of Expertise and provide the ‘voice of the customer’ back to the wider HR Team in order to build tools, policies, and products that enhance Ebury's employee value proposition, which ultimately improves business performance.
Candidate profile:
-Our HR infrastructure is basic (however this is changing quickly) and we’re creating an entrepreneurial culture across the HR team, so a roll your sleeves-up and pragmatic mindset is essential. Someone who enjoys being in their comfort zone will struggle.
-At our heart, we are a sales-driven financial services business with over 50% of our employees working in the Front Office. This environment demands a robust mindset, an outcome-driven focus, business acumen, and strong interpersonal skills from all those in the HR team to actively consult and influence business leaders.
-There’s plenty of ambiguity across the business so we need individuals who excel in environments that lack structure but at the same time enjoy establishing and building clarity.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills, an affinity with data, attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
-The business operates at an incredible pace (on occasions, too quick) so we need individuals with drive, hunger, and ambition but at the same time, they have the confidence, experience, and capability to know when to diplomatically challenge as well as think ahead a few steps.
-This role will suit someone with a solid understanding of employee relations & employment law in Central Europe and understand the HR processes.
-You are a native Dutch speaker, with professional competency in English
- French language skills beneficial
