Ebury is a hyper-growth FinTech firm, named in 2021 as one of the top 15 European Fintechs to work for by Glassdoor and AltFi. We offer a range of products including FX risk management, trade finance, currency accounts, international payments and API integration. Ebury is looking to add a full-time Senior Data Privacy Analyst to join our Security and Privacy team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct comprehensive Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
- Conduct Legitimate Interest Assessments.
- Conduct Transfer Impact Assessments.
- Provide input to internal policies, procedures and privacy notices.
- Assist with drafting content for working groups.
- Assist with the provision of data protection training across the Group.
- Draft data protection communications for the business.
- Assist with data protection audits.
- Research international data protection requirements.
- Provide support in the preparation of responses to requests from data subjects to exercise their rights, including but not limited to Data Subject Access Requests.
- Assist in maintaining and developing the data protection framework across the Group.
- Update the logs of Data Subject Access Requests, erasure requests, data breaches and near-misses.
Skills and requirements
- Proven track record in data protection and privacy.
- CIPP/E, CIPM or similar privacy qualification(s).
- Good knowledge of EU GDPR and UK data laws.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Track record of working autonomously with organisational and time management skills. Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Extreme ownership and accountability for work.
Desirable Skills/Experience
- Experience working in Financial Services.
- Working knowledge of OneTrust.
