Role Purpose:

The Analyst is responsible for generating, processing and maintaining data for the Financial Crime Operations Department. You will be expected to deliver against deadlines for both productivity and quality, manage your own queue of work, take proactivity to enhance and automatize processes. Also, you will assist the Business Support team in generic tasks such as team coordination, ad hoc management, putting slide packs together

 Deliverables: 

  • Ability to collect data from the different systems and transform it into metrics, KPI and MI. 
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to dig into big amounts of data looking for interesting information to be provided to the senior management. 
  • Be effective in finding data from a number of sources/systems
  • Work flexibly in a high performing team to ensure team goals, as well as personal deliverables, are achieved. 
  • Deliver high standards of quality. 
  • Manage workload throughout the end to end process in a timely manner. 
  • Monitor own performance to ensure personal targets standards are met. 

Essential Experience: 

  • Studying for a degree (with Málaga University) with a statistical background. 
  • Articulate in both written and verbal communication. 
  • An analytical mind and willingness to learn. Advanced Excel/GSheets skills: using formulas, macros, etc. 
  • Knowledge of database languages (like SQL) is a plus but not required. Working successfully in a target driven operational environment· 
  • Ability to manage performance and targets in a fast-paced, pressured environment. 
  • Very important: Fluency in English (B2 level as a minimum) and Spanish.
