  • The initial responsibility of FX Business Developer in Spain is mainly attracting new customers through:
  • Identification of Spanish companies exports and / or imports to countries outside the euro zone and therefore they have a need to exchange their currency for trade transactions.
  • Generation database of potential customers (lead sourcing) Identification of companies that need financial products related to foreign trade in target sectors.
  • Cold calling introducing Ebury services to potential customers.
  • Networking: attending events to meet companies and attract customers.
  • Monitoring the currency market and macroeconomic news with impact on financial markets.
  • Preparation of materials for sales and commercial offers.
  • Attending meetings with Senior Sales to meet customer and close the account.
  • Opening accounts.

Skills and Experience:

  • Degree in Business, Economics, Law or similar.
  • Commercial experience / business development with companies, preferably in international or financial trade areas.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and articulation skills.
  • Great commercial ambition, used to work based on objectives achievement.
  • Existing relationships in target sectors a plus.
  • Native Spanish speaker and fluent in English.
  • Availability to travel in Spain and occasionally to London.
