The role:

Taking the role of Operations Executive you will be responsible for a range of operational functions to support the business including FX trade processing, cash management and outbound payment processing and related client support in these areas, for Ebury’s global client base.

Reporting to the Operations Manager - Athens, the successful candidate will work closely with the Transactional Operations team based in Malaga, Spain. 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Management of client FX trades including trade verification, confirmation and amendments in line with internal processes and SLAs
  • Management of FX trades booked with liquidity providers, including matching and reconciliation via various third party platforms
  • Reconciliation of client funds, FX settlements, outbound payments and internal cash movements sent and received across Ebury’s network of bank accounts, across all back office systems, in accordance with internal processes
  • Instruction and verification of client payments, in accordance with internal processes and in line with internal SLAs
  • Completion and verification of clients beneficiaries, in accordance with internal processes
  • Completing allocated tasks with focus, and in a timely manner
  • Communicating the status of tasks to colleagues, supervisors and managers, and escalate problems swiftly, as needed
